Bilkent University, established in 1984 as Turkey’s first private foundation university, is located in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. The university is known for its research excellence and international collaborations, and has received numerous awards and grants for its academic endeavours.

Associate Professor Dr. Hüseyin Can Aksoy graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Law. He holds a master’s degree from Ankara University and a PhD from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany.

In 2017, he was honored with the Outstanding Young Scientist Award (GEBİP) by the Science Academy of Turkey and the Young Scientist Award (BAGEP) from the Science Academy Association.

In 2022, he was bestowed with the Distinguished Teaching Award by Bilkent University, in recognition of his excellence in teaching. Same year, he also received the Ten Outstanding Young Person award from Junior Chamber International (JCI) Turkey.
