Michael G. Lindner
Founder
Michael practiced law in the US as a litigator before moving to Sweden. He received his law degree from the University of Florida and is an authorised translator from Swedish to English.
Under his leadership, TransLegal has become the world’s leading firm in Legal English, developing the International Legal English Certificate with Cambridge University and authoring leading coursebooks published by Cambridge University Press. Over the past decade he has directed the creation of the World Law Dictionary together with more than 20 law faculties worldwide, a dataset now approaching 1 million legal terms across 65+ jurisdictions.
Michael Krallmann
CEO
Michael is a former UK solicitor and patents litigator, and an authorised translator from Norwegian to English.
He holds BA Law, BSc Business, LLM (Legal Practice), MA Translation Studies and PhD (Law and Language) degrees from various UK universities. He began his legal career specialising in patent and trademark litigation in London, and has since worked across common law and Norwegian civil law for more than 15 years, including as a translator of key Norwegian legislation like the Penal Code, Immigration Act and Security Act.
Prior to serving as CEO, Michael was TransLegal’s CLO, and is also editor-in-chief of the Norwegian World Law Dictionary dataset.
Péter Torma
COO/CBDO
Péter is a Hungarian lawyer who previously specialised in anti-trust and competition law at DG Competition and Gibson Dunn in Brussels.
As Chief Business Development Officer, he manages TransLegal's day-to-day operations, including the international network of lawyer-linguists and academic partners that produces the World Law Dictionary datasets, and he leads the company's work with legal tech companies, publishers and enterprise legal teams.
Thomas B. Mann

Tom is an American corporate and commercial lawyer with more than three decades of experience in cross-border law, comparative legal analysis, legal translation and legal-language systems. He holds a J.D. from American University and an LL.M. in German law from Heidelberg University.
As TransLegal's Chief Legal Officer and Chief Quality Officer, Tom oversees the Group's legal affairs as well as the methodology, semantic quality and the development of structured legal-concept data across common-law and civil-law systems.
