His expertise includes competition law, consumer law, and administrative sanctioning procedures. Throughout his career, he has been involved in cases concerning the protection of national interest competition and high-impact matters. Additionally, he has provided the highest level of legal services in resolving corporate conflicts.

Currently, he serves as the leader of the complaints group at the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (Colombian competition authority).

Sergio earned his Master’s degree in Business Legal Advice from Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain) and a postgraduate degree in Economics and Corporate Law from Javeriana University (Colombia).
