Ramón obtained a LLB and LLM degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Ramón gained valuable experience working at universities in Mexico where he specialised in comparative law (Mexico-US) and legal translation. In 2019 he published the bilingual (Spanish and English) text book “inglés esencial para el abogado mexicano del siglo XXI”.

Ramón is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Birmingham, UK. His research focusses on international law and linguistic diversity/indigenous language rights. He teaches law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
