TransLegal brought together legal scholars and professors from five East African countries on April 12th (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi) for a conference co-hosted by the law faculty of the University of Dar es Salaam. The conference focused on the use of Swahili in the five countries, particularly in the legal systems, and the inclusion of Swahili in the World Law Dictionary. CEO and founder of TransLegal, Michael Lindner, gave the keynote address.
